Is Darren Cool?

Darren is very "cool" in his own special unique way. He stands out because to me what you see if what you get, he is natural, honest which makes him very "real and believable" His lyrics have the ability to reach deep inside me and make me alive and sooth and calm when needed.

Not like it really matters but I'm just wondering....

Do you ever sometimes feel a little bit embarrassed to admit you listen to Darren?

Would you feel uncomfortable if you were at a concert like let's say PITP surrounded by tens of thousands of people and Darren shouted into the mic "Are you my people?"

How would you feel if you realised that it was only you and about thirty BBSers scattered throughout the crowd who shouted "YEAH!"?

Why does Darren use terms like "happy pappy" and "big up?" Does he thinks this is cool?

Does our coolness depend on Darren's coolnees? Do we even know what cool is and do we care?

Scientifically speaking (and there are people who actually study "cool") once you identify something as being cool... it's automatically uncool.

Perhaps Darren is the coolest thing around... and maybe I've just made him uncool.

Sorry for the ramble... I'm just wondering.

I don't think Darren is really the coolest hip singer around but thats ok. I don't want to listen to an Enrique (sorry Terry). Its probably a bit imbarassing at a concert like that but if he said it at his own private concert we would all be screaming Yes!!!
